I was born and raised in Sunny California. My family and I still reside in the Bay Area. I am married to my childhood sweetheart, Lashun Bell. Together we have two beautiful daughters, Kendra 14 and Lashundra 15. I am fortunate to both work and be sponsored by one of the best supplement companies around, CytoSport.

I can thank my husband for getting me involved in fitness. He became interested in bodybuilding around 1991. It took me a few years from that point to become interested. It wasn’t until about 1995 that I caught “The Bug”. I was looking through one of my husband’s Flex Magazines and came across the beautiful and amazing Ericca Kern. I said “I want to look like that” and the journey began.

It took me quite some time to build the courage to compete. Finally in 2000 I competed in my first fitness show. I have competed in four figure competitions. The latest and most exciting was taking 7th place in the Medium/tall class at the 2003 Figure Nationals in New York. It was an amazing experience. My goal is to earn my Pro card and one day compete in the Figure Olympia.
