Favourite music: R & B, and Dance Were you always strong or athletic? Not at all, In fact for a long time I was very unfit and a heavy smoker. At my heaviest I was 90 kgs. Now that I have found health and fitness I will never look back and enjoy my life and aspire to show this to others too. Any childhood memories you can share? I used to be so shy in school. Since my transformation there is no stopping me with being happy and outgoing. What other interesting achievements do you have? I did the EAS Body for Life Challenge in 2002 and become the Australian Grand Master Champion beating over 8,000 other competitors to take out the open title winning a brand new proton satria GTI. Since doing the challenge I have now pursued my new career in health and fitness becoming a Personal trainer and then opening my own studio Desire Fitness on Sydney's northern beaches. In March 2004 Porter Freeman from America flew out to present me with my new title as the Offical Ambassador in Australia, awarding me with a 14kt gold ring. I have appeared on TV, radio and newspapers as well as magazines such as Ultrafit and America's Energy Magazine. I run regular support meets in Sydney and conduct motivational talks. I am also a regular contributor to the EAS Body for Life Forum. When/Why did you start lifting weights? I started lifting weights about 6 years ago. I started because a friend introduced me to bodybuilding. What motivates you to train? I get such a buzz from exercising, also for my fans and to continue to inspire my clients and other people who do Body for life. How do men and women react to your muscles? Most men love the fact that I can be feminine and strong at the same time. Most woman cant believe that I have two teenage daughters. What are your future goals? To continue expanding my business and open BFL success coach franchises, increase the membership of my web site, maintain my health, and to be a personal trainer to the stars. Personal bests: Doing 55 full strict pushups in one minute. 20 kgs barbell curls, hmmm.. Don't know what else, I just enjoy doing weights. Could you share some of your training routine with us: I aim to do exercise at least 6 days a week. I do weights for about 45 mins on at least 3 of those days, alternating between upper and lower body.
